Change of Pace

 Well summer is almost over and we all have a garden full of zucchini so here is a delicious dessert and it really tastes like apple crisp.

ZUCCHINI CRISP
from COOKS.COM

5 c. zucchini, peeled, seeded & sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. lemon juice
3/4 c. water
Cook above ingredients for 10 minutes. 
Place in a 9" square ungreased pan.
TOPPING:
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix topping ingredients until crumbly. 
Sprinkle over zucchini and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8 people. Tastes like apple crisp.
